Mitchell Tenpenny is having a great summer. He has two songs climbing the charts and he’s out on the road with Luke Bryan on the Raised Up Right Tour. We asked him what he loves the most about summertime.

“The thing I love about summertime the most is just being outdoors. I am born and bred to be outdoors. I love everything about being outside in the summertime. It’s the best vibe you can get when you’re outdoors. Except for the bugs all the time. It gets a little mosquito heavy down here in the south, but I’d take it just to be outside.”

Mitchell’s song “Truth About You” is at #15 on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart this week. His song with Chris Young “At The End Of A Bar” is at #9. While it may not be his favorite thing about summertime, this could become his favorite summer to date for having TWO hit songs at once.
