Morgan Wallen kept his promise just a day after committing to help flood-ravaged east Tennessee and western North Carolina. The musician donated a BIG check to the American Red Cross.

Billboard reports that Morgan has donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Helene relief. The massive storm has killed at least 130 people in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. There are millions without power and homeless from the devastation.

Asheville’s Buncombe County Emergency Services called the floods “biblical.” Eastern Tennessee and Virginia received 10 inches of rain. Western North Carolina may have received 30 inches.

North Carolina natives and country stars Luke Combs, Eric Church, Chase Rice, and Chris Lane have all committed to providing assistance as well.

“To all the families and first responders, you are in our prayers, and we are doing everything we can to get you the help you need now,” is a part of a message Eric Church posted on X.
