LEE GREENWOOD CHRISTMAS CONCERT IN PEORIA
TO RAISE FUNDS FOR HELPING A HERO

Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment and the Peoria Civic Center are proud to announce that Lee Greenwood will be bringing his Christmas-themed tour to the Civic Center Arena on Thursday, December 10th. Tickets will be $30 in advance and will go on sale Friday, September 18th at 10am by phone at 800-745-3000, in person at the Toyota Box Office at the Peoria Civic Center or on-line at www.jaytv.com or www.ticketmaster.com. $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to Helping A Hero, and for all tickets purchased before the end of September patrons will also receive a free t-shirt showing support for the concert and Helping A Hero.
Lee Greenwood is an icon in country music, with more than 30 albums to his credit. With seven #1 singles, 25 additional charted singles and a variety of country music industry awards under his belt, there is no denying his influence. Greenwood’s song “God Bless The USA” has been widely voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America. Lee Greenwood’s Christmas concert can help set the mood for an evening of holiday entertainment that is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit. The show includes a decorative holiday set and performances of many classic holiday songs and carols that have become favorites of generations young and old.
Helping A Hero is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 2006 that provides support for military personnel severely injured in the war on terror. Their principal activity is to provide specially adapted homes for qualifying service members through partnerships made with local builders, developers, communities and the veterans. Helping A Hero strives to engage the community in providing services and resources for our wounded heroes and their families.
