Cody Johnson is enjoying a second consecutive week at number one with his song “‘Til You Can’t”. The singer-songwriter shares that he truly respects the power that music has in everyday life.

“Music is heard mostly in the intimate moments, when people say ‘We use that for our first dance’ ‘That song change my life, it made me go apologize to somebody’ or ‘That song saved my marriage.’ It’s like, that’s the kind of stuff that you don’t think about when you write or when you’re recording. So when it transcends like that it just it reminds you that music has a greater purpose.”

Cody gets to help pay homage to another singer-songwriter that impacted many people’s lives for many years. April 6th Cody will be a part of the Opry salute to Merle Haggard.
