Thomas Rhett’s latest song, “Half of Me,” is about all of him wanting a beer. So, we asked Thomas to tell us what he considers the perfect beer, and it turns out it’s as much about the setting as it is about the actual beer.

“I mean, I think the cliché answer would be to drink a beer on the beach. But I like cold drinks in cold weather now. So, my epitome of the perfect beer is like, in a hot tub on a ski mountain, being able to set a frosty Coors Light in the snow. There’s just something about that, I don’t know what it is, but that is my favorite. I mean, I can envision it right now. Being in Telluride, Colorado, drinking a Coors Light in the hot tub, while it’s just getting freezing in the snow.”

Don’t miss Thomas and Katy Perry performing their duet of the title track from Thomas’ latest album, Where We Started, tonight (Wednesday, 11/9) on the 56th Annual CMA Awards, at 8 ET/7 CT on ABC.
