“She and I had just played an acoustic guitar pull together. I remember being a new artist playin’ those types of shows and it being damn near impossible to win, if you will. And she blew us all out of the water that night. I mean, you know, we’re playin’ hit song after hit song after hit song – and she’s gonna have a lot of hit songs, but she didn’t have one yet – and we’re goin’ damn, how many number ones I gotta play here? I mean, the fact that not only you sang your butt off, but the songwriting was great, the way that you handled the audience I was highly impressed with. And it was right around the time I got that song, and I thought man, I wonder if she would possibly be into doing this with me. And fortunately, she said yes. I don’t know why, but she did.”

Justin and Priscilla have been doing some concerts together that they are calling the “You, Me & Whiskey Tour.” It wraps up with a concert tonight (4/20) in La Crosse, WI, tomorrow (4/21) in Dubuque, IA and Saturday (4/22) in Coralville, IA.
