According to reports, Kevin Costner has decided to part ways with the show after a fallout between him and Taylor Sheridan, the show’s co-creator.

The rumor mill has been churning about issues between the two for many months. Official statements have leaned toward the entire cast coming back for the second half of season five. However, nothing was really noted beyond that. With multiple publications now reporting that season five will be the last for Costner on the show, you have to wonder if there is truth to the reports.

The second half of the show’s fifth season hadn’t even started filming yet, and as of today, there is no return date, production schedule, or script in place.
