Scotty McCreery spent some time with his buddies in the North Carolina mountains with the mission to write new country music.

You can hear the results in his new song, “Cab in a Solo.” In a social media post, McCreery shared, “Took some buddies up to the mountains of North Carolina to do nothing but write some country music. I’m proud to say one of those songs turned out to be one of my favorites I’ve ever written.”

“Cab In A Solo” will be released to streaming platforms on Friday, August 18th.
