Lainey Wilson has become one of the hottest stars in country music. She is shocked over the success she feels is coming so quickly in her career.

Lainey received nine Country Music Association Awards nominations for the second year in a row just a couple of weeks ago, and she is still reeling over it.

“It’s crazy. I mean, there’s a few categories where I’m competing with myself. It’s wild. If you would have told little Lainey that this would happen this soon into my career, I would have told you you were lying.”

Lainey’s personal life also seems to be working out well these days. She has been in a relationship with former Pittsburgh Steelers player Devlin “Duck” Hodges since 2021. They decided to take the relationship public when the couple made their red-carpet debut at the 2023 ACMs in Dallas. 

“I just decided to keep something for myself, you know? And I laugh and say I wanted to see if he was in it for the right reasons — and turns out he was.”
