Scotty McCreery was performing as part of the Opry Country Christmas celebration when he received an amazing early Christmas present!

Garth Brooks joined scotty on stage and handed him a box. He told he shouldn’t open it until Christmas. The reason was the box did not have the actual gift inside yet. He explained that tonight was merely the invitation to get the gift. The gift would be becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Watch the special moment for Scotty below.

We’re not sure if Garth’s instructions to not open until Christmas means Scotty will be inducted by Christmas or not.
