A recent survey asked people if they still take part in some things that are considered to be “Christmas Traditions.”
Thousands of people took part in the poll sharing if they were still way into the tradition, just mildly interested in it or it is something they really do not want to do. Here are 15 traditions and what percentage say they still love it.
- Secret Santa – 54% are enthusiastic about it
- Snow – 42% love it at Christmas
(Not sure how this is a tradition since we can’t control if it happens or not.) - ALL presents opened only on Christmas Day, no exceptions – 41% are strict about his
- Christmas music – 41% love it
- Christmas movies – 41% watch them each year
- Christmas Caroling – 36% still head out to sing
- Christmas decorations – 29% still love putting them up
- Hosting Christmas parties – 27% want to entertain
- “I’m offended if someone says they don’t like Christmas” – 26% are that serious about the holiday
- Ugly Christmas sweaters – 25% are still obsessed with them
- Baking Christmas cookies – 25% love to do it
- Putting Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving – 21% just can’t wait to get it up
- Christmas family photos – 14% still make sure this happens every year
- All Christmas shopping done by Black Friday – 14% said they actually achieve this
- Making Christmas cards – 11% not only send them, but say they find the time to MAKE them
