Smokey Bear is celebrating a huge milestone as the longest-running American PSA campaign.

USDA Forest Service, the National Association of State Foresters (NASF) and the Ad Council have released a new public service advertisement (PSA) that pays homage to the 80 years fire prevention service by Smokey Bear.

The new PSA is being voiced by Brian Tyree Henry as the iconic fire prevention spokesBEAR. The nostalgic film highlights all the lessons taught by Smokey’s eight decades as a longstanding presence in American culture. It ends with his ever-present, critical message to the audience that, “Only You Can Prevent Wildfires.”
