Willie Nelson performed at the 2024 Luck Reunion in Willie’s tiny little town outside Austin. The country music icon was joined by another icon for a very special duet.

“Rainbow Connection” was first featured in the intro of The Muppet Movie from 1979 with Kermit the Frog singing the now iconic song.

Willie has his own connections to the song. His own version of it was the title track of his 2001 album. Willie also performed the song as a duet with Kacey Musgraves on the 2019 CMA Awards Show.

The fans in attendance have been sharing videos of the two Legends performing the iconic song together for the first time ever.
