Chris Janson just dropped the music video for his new single “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” and it features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The professional wrestler and actor being in the video is not just an arranged special appearance. This is because Dwayne and Chris have become friends. Dwayne shares how the two met,

“Parking Lot Brotherhood is how we are categorizing this. So, a couple of years ago we were waiting for our cars to be brought around, we were at a hotel at the valet. And, I get a tap on my shoulder, I turn around, it’s Chris. He says, ‘Hey DJ I’m Chris, would you take a picture with my son, love to say hello.’ I said yeah, absolutely. Take a picture meet his family, and we’re still waiting for our cars to come around. We just kind of start shootin’ the breeze. Ten minutes later we’re still talking, and this is a reflection of Chris’ humility and who he is as a human being, I have no idea that he was a country music star. It just comes out that I start talking about my love for country music. Eventually, when I meet Chris’ wife, and they met my wife too as well, Chris’ wife said, ‘He’s never gonna tell you, but he is a country music singer.’ And, when I heard that my initial thought was, oh just startin’ out in the business, good for you kid, good for you. I’m here for you anything I can do to help.”

In actuality, Chris had four #1 singles at that time. I guess as they say, the rest is history … Maybe in this case it is history in the making.
